Who Wants To Swap Places With Me? ________________________________________________________________

I am fed up with my life. I want to be someone else now...

This has been the week from hell...I'm tired and grumpy and everything is just falling apart. And I am depressed about turning 40 (which I am sure is what is contributing to my bad mood).

I so didn't want a party and Michael talked me into it. So now it is all organised - a small fortune spent on food and such and now it looks like Adam has the chicken pox. He has 1/2 dozen little spots all over his back and tummy. I guess we will know for sure tomorrow morning. About 15 or so people have indicated that they won't be able to come if he gets them as either they or their kids haven't had them..and I'm sure I will find more when I do the phone around in the morning. He couldn't wait just one more day could he? Oh well, the upside is at least I get my gorgeous new ring!

Ashleigh has been like the bride of Frankenstein tonight. That girl pushes so hard and can be the biggest bitch I've had the pleasure of living with and NOTHING works. So far tonight she has lost:

1. Her nintendo DS
2. TV rights
3. The dangly things off her door (which she screamed blue murder about)
4. No friends after school next week
5. Her pocket money

and she still didn't clean her room :-(

I am at my wits end what to do with her. We are doing everything the psychologist has suggested and it's not working. I am certain she does it just to see me lose my temper (but it didn't work today, lol).

Sorry to vent on my blog....please ignore it....I'll cheer up tomorrow, I promise...
